Role
As a Sales Lead at Yana Finance involves creating and aligning sales strategies with company goals, including setting targets, defining processes, and identifying key markets. You will lead, mentor, and manage a sales team, build and maintain customer relationships, prepare reports, conduct market research, and refine strategies while working closely with other departments to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
Responsibilities
- Create and align sales strategies with company goals, set targets, define processes, and identify key markets.
- Lead, mentor, motivate, recruit, hire, and onboard sales representatives.
- Set individual and team targets, monitor performance, analyse metrics, and provide feedback.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, manage accounts, and resolve issues.
- Prepare reports and forecasts, analyse data, and provide insights into performance and trends.
- Conduct market research, analyse competitor activities, and refine strategies.
- Work with marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales with organisational goals.
- Enhance sales processes, improve team performance, stay updated with industry practices, and implement new techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in a sales role at a bank or FMCG distribution company.
- Demonstrable leadership and managerial skills to motivate and mentor a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical abilities for preparing reports, analysing data, and providing performance insights.
