Role
As a the manager of finance partnerships at Yana Finance, you will be responsible for sourcing and manage strategic partnerships with micro-finance banks, family offices and other financial institutions. This role is pivotal in expanding our network, driving growth, and critical to the success of our operations. The right person for this job has experience working in credit with banks or other financial institutions and good knowledge around partnerships and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and establish strategic partnerships with micro-finance banks, family offices and financial institutions.
- Develop and implement partnership strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Negotiate and finalise partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefits and clear terms.
- Manage and nurture existing partnerships, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development, etc.) to ensure smooth integration and operational success of partnerships.
- Monitor partnership performance, analyse metrics, and report on progress to senior management.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform partnership strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote partnership opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or a similar role within the fintech or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of the micro-finance sector and financial institutions.
- Proven track record of ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and improve partnership performance.
